2 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Max Meyer (elbow) was placed on the 15-day injured list with a right elbow sprain. Meyer lasted just 2/3 of an inning in Saturday's start against Pittsburgh before leaving early with the elbow issue. He missed nearly a month in Triple-A earlier this season while dealing with elbow nerve irritation so it's troubling that the same injury has popped up again. Miami will play this cautiously so fantasy managers should expect the 23-year-old to be out for a while.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
