Max Meyer Issues Four Walks In Saturday's Outing
2 years agoMiami Marlins pitching prospect Max Meyer struggled in his outing at Triple-A on Saturday. He pitched 4 2/3 innings and allowed two hits, four walks and two earned runs. He earned the loss to drop his Triple-A record to 3-4 on the year. On the bright side, he managed to compile seven strikeouts in the game, just one shy of his season-high. Meyer was dominant in his previous outing before this one, allowing just two hits while pitching six scoreless innings last Sunday. He owns a 3.72 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP with 65 strikeouts across 58 innings. While he's one of the top pitching prospects to stash in all fantasy formats, it's unclear when we'll see him make his MLB debut. It could be later this year, or it could be at some point next year.
