Max Meyer Dominants Double-A Opponents Again
3 years agoMiami Marlins pitching prospect Max Meyer struck out nine batters in six innings of one-run work on Saturday. The 22-year-old hurler allowed just three hits and a walk. Meyer lowered his ERA to 1.86 and now has a K-BB ratio of 31-9 in 29 innings of work. These six appearances have been the first games of his pro career after the 2020 minor league season was wiped out by the pandemic. The third-overall pick in the 2019 draft looks ready for the Triple-A challenge and has a shot at reaching the majors later this year. He's an intriguing dynasty option given his high ceiling.
