Max Kepler's 2-For-4 Day Aids Twins On Thursday
6 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler delivered a strong performance at the plate on Thursday. Kepler went 2-for-4 with a double, a single that scored a run and then scored a run himself off of a Jake Cave double. Kepler has a brief but productive history with Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Andrew Cashner, and it continued in Thursday's game. Kepler is now 3-for-7 against Cashner with two doubles. It was good to see the Twins play a clean game, and although Kepler played an integral part in it, he just isn't on the standard fantasy radar right now. He's only hitting .223 with eight home runs this season and outside of deeper American League-only leagues, he should be left on the waiver wire.
