2 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler (hip) played in a minor league game on Thursday. The left-handed slugger has been sidelined since exiting early during last Sunday's Grapefruit contest. He's dealing with mild hip tightness, but it doesn't sound like it's going to be a long term issue. The expectation is that he'll play in another minor league contest on Friday. The 30-year-old should be ready in time for Opening Day. Kepler is looking for a bounce back season after struggling in 2022. The potential is there, but we'll see if he can put it together once again.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
