Max Kepler Records Homer And Stolen Base Tuesday
3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler put together a strong line in Tuesday''s defeat at the hands of the White Sox. Kepler homered in his first at-bat, then later singled and stole second base. His round-tripper traveled 406 feet at 105.4 MPH, with the single also exceeding 104 MPH off the bat. Kepler has posted the worst strikeout rate of his career since his rookie year, though his batted ball data suggests he's been unlucky to accumulate just a .212 batting average thus far. Kepler should be a solid OF3 the rest of the way, with the home runs and RBI likely to come in bunches in the second half, given how hard he's been hitting the ball.
