Max Kepler Belts A Pair Of Homers Wednesday
3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler went 3-for-4 with three runs scored, two homers, a double, and three RBI in Wednesday's victory over the Cubs. Kepler's fingerprints were all over this game, as he got the scoring started with a two-run shot in the first inning, then broke a 2-2 tie with another homer in the fourth frame. He later added a double, scoring a run on an error. With six hits, four runs scored, and five RBI in his last two games, Kepler has put his recent slump squarely behind him. He's a must-start outfielder moving forward, though there's a chance he sits on Thursday with Blue Jays lefty Steven Matz on the mound.
