While Max Homa has experienced a great deal of success in his home state of California and on poa greens, it's hard to ignore how poorly he has been playing. Since finishing sixth at the Memorial in the beginning of June, the two-time PGA Tour winner has zero top-20 finishes and two missed cuts in his last seven starts. He also finished close to the bottom of the field in two no-cut events. Putting has been his biggest ailment, as the University of California product has lost a combined 17.4 strokes putting over his last seven events. Maybe a return to poa annua greens could be just what the doctor ordered, but there has been very little consistency with his ball-striking either. It is difficult to back a player in this poor form. --Andy Lack
