1 year agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Max Fried (forearm) is progressing. According to manager Brian Snitker, the left-hander's flat-ground sessions have gone well, although he's still not ready to begin throwing off the mound. Fried amassed a 2-1 record with a 2.08 ERA and 25 strikeouts in five starts in 2023. However, he suffered a forearm strain in early May and has been on the shelf ever since. But there may be light at the end of the tunnel, so fantasy managers should keep their fingers crossed and hope Fried is back sooner rather than later.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
