6 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Max Fried (hand) is hoping to make his next start on Sunday against the Diamondbacks after he left the game early in his start on Tuesday against the Dodgers after taking a liner off his hand. He had some mild swelling and stitch marks on the outside of his hand, but his strength tests were good and he was diagnosed with a contusion. Fried dodged a bullet but also allowed four earned runs in his inning of work to raise his ERA to almost 3.00 on the season. The left-hander has been excellent for Atlanta and fantasy owners this year. If he makes his start this Sunday against Arizona, he should be started by his owners in all leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
