Max Duggan Effective On The Ground In Preseason Play
1 year agoLos Angeles Chargers rookie quarterback Max Duggan saw a good bit of playing time in the third preseason game and did much better on the ground than through the air. He attempted nine passes, completing four of them for a total of 15 yards and a touchdown. On the ground, he ran the ball six times for 51 yards, including a long run of 20 yards. Duggan, a seventh-round pick, looked solid with the ball in his hands in the preseason, but didn't impress much with his arm. He's a work in progress with some upside, and will almost certainly begin the season behind starter Justin Herbert and backup Easton Stick.
