Max Domi Might Return Earlier Than Expected
3 years agoColumbus Blue Jackets forward Max Domi (shoulder) is reportedly ahead of schedule in his recovery from offseason shoulder surgery. Domi, who underwent the surgery on June 4 to repair a labral tear in his right shoulder, was originally expected to not be ready to play until November or December. The 26-year-old really struggled to find his game in his first season with Columbus last year, posting 24 points (nine goals, 15 assists) to go along with a minus-18 rating in 54 contests. In addition, the tenacious forward saw his ice time drop almost a full two minutes per game (15:13), compared to his time in Montreal. Domi is currently only rostered in 7% of Yahoo fantasy leagues but could be a player worth keeping an eye on once he returns to full health.

Max Domi To Remain Out On Sunday
4 months agoToronto Maple Leafs forward Max Domi (lower body) will sit out a second consecutive game on Sunday against Utah. With the Maple Leafs forwards dropping like flies lately, Domi had slotted into the first line before suffering a lower-body injury. Following his exit from the lineup, Pontus Holmberg joined the top six. The likes of Fraser Minten and Alexander Nylander will also have extended roles on Sunday, with the latter making his Maple Leafs debut on the third line.

Max Domi Placed On Injured Reserve
4 months agoToronto Maple Leafs forward Max Domi (lower body) will miss Wednesday's contest against Vegas after he was placed on Injured Reserve. The move is retroactive to Nov. 16, meaning Domi will be eligible to return on Sunday versus Utah. Domi recently replaced Auston Matthews (upper body) in the top six but has been ineffective offensively. The 29-year-old sits on a 13-game point drought. Toronto's attack is also without David Kampf (lower body) and Calle Jarnkrok (groin), putting the team in a tough position. Pontus Holmberg will move to the second line for Wednesday's game. He has been limited to two assists in 17 games this season.

Maple Leafs Open To Tyler Bertuzzi, Max Domi Reunions
9 months agoThe Toronto Maple Leafs are reportedly interested in bringing back veteran forwards Tyler Bertuzzi and Max Domi as long as it makes sense for both parties, according to The Athletic's Pierre LeBrun. Both players signed one-year pacts with the Leafs last offseason and both got off to slow starts before getting things turned around offensively and finishing the season on the flanks of superstar center Auston Matthews. Bertuzzi finished the season with 21 goals and 43 points across 80 games but also tallied 15 goals and 23 points across his final 34 regular-season games. For his part, Domi recorded nine goals and 38 points in 80 games, including 17 points across his final 21 contests.

Max Domi Produces Multi-Point Performance In Game 2
11 months agoToronto Maple Leafs forward Max Domi registered a goal and an assist as the team tied the first-round series against Boston with a 3-2 victory on Monday. Domi got the Maple Leafs on the board in the middle of the first frame and registered the primary assist when Auston Matthews hit the game-winner with eight minutes left to play in regulation. Sitting on the first line with Matthews, Domi finds himself in a superb spot to make a big impact in the series.
