Maverick McNealy Seeking Back-To-Back Top-10 Finishes In Bermuda
1 month agoMaverick McNealy has been a model of inconsistency in his five fall-swing starts. The 29-year-old Stanford alum has two missed cuts, one withdrawal, and two finishes inside of the top 16 in his five appearances to date. However, he did save his best result for last, posting a T6 in his most recent start two weeks ago at the World Wide Technology Championship. McNealy could be in line for another elite finish this week, as he ranks third in par-three scoring, sixth in opportunities gained, ninth in birdie-or-better percentage, and fifth in putting inside of 10 feet over the last 36 rounds. It should be noted that McNealy has yet to claim victory or post back-to-back top-10 finishes on the PGA Tour, but both of those statements have the potential to be proven false after this week's Butterfield Bermuda Championship.
