Mauricio Dubon Cemented In The Leadoff Spot
2 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Mauricio Dubon is leading off Saturday's game against Zack Wheeler and the Philadelphia Phillies. The former 26th-rounder first led off on April 15, and that's been his permanent spot ever since. Dubon's putting up the best numbers of his career so far, with a .315/.340/.402 slash line, four RBI, 18 runs, and two stolen bases. He's still searching for his first homer, but with Jose Altuve (thumb) out of action until June, fantasy managers can capitalize on Dubon's newfound hitting ability and run total at the top of an elite Astros offense.
