6 years agoWashington Redskins wide receiver Maurice Harris has been standing out among the backup wide receivers. He has been making plays and standing out with his routes and athletic plays. He was a non-factor last season with only four receptions for 62 yards and a single touchdown for the season. It is still too early to have a firm grasp on his role but it seems likely that he is fighting for one of the last few WR roster spots behind presumed starters Josh Doctson, Paul Richardson, and Jamison Crowder.--Jamie Mellor
