Matthew Wolff Is Not A Risk Worth Taking
3 years agoMatthew Wolff's runner-up finish at the 2020 U.S. Open feels like a lifetime ago. The Oklahoma State product has only made eight starts on the tour this season, and they resulted in three missed cuts, a withdrawal, a disqualification and no finish better than 36th. The last time Wolff teed it up in an official event was back in April at the Zurich Classic, a team event, where he looked completely despondent. The reason for Wolff's recent absence from the game remains uncertain, but one would have to assume it has more to do with a loss of confidence than anything else. A glass-half-full approach could be that Wolff would only be returning if he felt like his game was in a better place. Yet with so many other appealing options in his price range, fantasy managers can afford to take a wait-and-see approach with the former 3M Open champion.
