Matthew Tkachuk Has Big Role In Saturday's Comeback Victory
6 years agoCalgary Flames left wing Matthew Tkachuk recorded his 13th multi-point performance of the season on Saturday against Philadelphia, coming up big just at the right time for the team. He scored a game-tying goal with only a little over four minutes left in regulation and then provided the only assist in overtime for T.J. Brodie's 3-2 game-winner. Johnny Gaudreau also scored for the Flames, while Travis Sanheim and Travis Konecny found the net for Philly. Tkachuk is one of four Flames players who are already up to at least 40 points for the season. He has 47 in 42 games, producing 18 goals and 29 assists. Tkachuk also has 41 penalty minutes to his name with 100 shots and 40 hits, so he's providing a bunch of stuff for fantasy owners this season.
