2 years agoThe Los Angeles Rams are reportedly expected to pick up quarterback Matthew Stafford's 2023 option bonus and 2024 salary this offseason, paying him a guaranteed $62 million. This update comes shortly after head coach Sean McVay made his decision to return to coach the Rams next season. The 34-year-old Stafford struggled early in the 2022-2023 campaign and was the subject of retirement rumors after being placed on Injured Reserve with a neck injury. Stafford later stated that he did not plan to retire and expects to be ready for OTAs in April. His return is great news for all of the team's offensive weapons, most notably wide receiver Cooper Kupp.--Jorden Hill - RotoBaller
