Matthew Stafford "Good To Go" in Week 2
6 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford has no worries about his health status entering the Week 2 road matchup with the 49ers. Stafford was forced to leave the game for one play, in the third quarter, on Monday night after having the wind knocked out of him by two Jets defenders on a pass attempt. During the game, he also had to receive medical attention on his left knee, after a lineman fell into it, causing it to hyper-extend. Stafford has started 113 consecutive games for the Lions and it doesn't seem that these hiccups will affect his short-or long-term health. He will be fine to roll out against the 49ers on Sunday.
