Matthew Stafford Expected To Play In Season Finale
4 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford (rib, thumb) is expected to play against the Vikings in Week 17. Stafford was forced to exit last week's loss to the Buccaneers with an ankle injury, another ailment in addition to the rib and thumb injuries he's been managing. He's thrown for just two scores in his last two full games, a definite sign that he's been hampered on the field by these injuries. It's a plus matchup for Stafford and the Lions' offense, as the Vikings' pass defense ranks 24th in the NFL. Still, there are better options in DFS this week than Stafford, who is more of a QB2 even in a good matchup.
