6 years agoMatthew Fitzpatrick is set to play in this week's Dubai Duty Free Irish Open. He joins the ranks of Rory McIlroy and Jon Rahm, who are also participating in the Rolex Series event. The tournament will be making its debut at Ballyliffin Golf Club this year, a tough coastal-links course. The layout should fit the young Englishman's game very well and will be excellent preparation for the upcoming Open Championship. Fitzpatrick has been playing excellent golf of late, including a T8 at the BMW PGA Championship and an impressive T12 at the U.S. Open.
