5 years agoAtlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan has been an elite fantasy quarterback two of the past three years, throwing for over 4,900 yards with 35+ touchdowns in both 2016 and 2018. This year, he figures to have another standout year with a strong supporting cast that features Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, Devonta Freeman and Mohamed Sanu. There's a strong argument that Ryan deserves consideration as the second quarterback off the board behind Patrick Mahomes. Ryan hasn't missed a game since 2009 and has a safer floor than the three quarterbacks currently drafted ahead of him, Deshaun Watson, Aaron Rodgers and Baker Mayfield. Watson's 1-for-2 on lasting a full season, Rodgers was heavily outperformed by Ryan last year and Mayfield will face the challenge of an NFL adapting to him this year.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
