2 years agoFree-agent quarterback Matt Ryan announced on Twitter that he's joining CBS Sports as an analyst this year, but that he's not retiring from the game. Ryan will be in the broadcast booth in 2023, but he's not closing the book on his NFL career after falling flat for the Indianapolis Colts in 2022. The 37-year-old former MVP completed 67 percent of his passes last year for 3,057 yards, 14 touchdowns and 13 interceptions in 12 games before he was benched. It wasn't entirely his fault, though, as the Colts' offensive line didn't give him much of a chance to be successful in the pocket. Even if Ryan does sign with another NFL team down the road, it won't be in anything more than a backup role.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
