Matt Ryan A Low-End QB1 If He Starts In Week 11
5 years agoAtlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan (ankle) was held out of practice on Wednesday and is currently questionable for Week 11 against the Panthers. If he's able to go, he's worthy of starting as a low-end QB1. The Falcons have had no success in the run game this year and their defense allows a ton of points. Both of those factors force the Falcons to throw the ball a lot. On the negative end, the team will be without Austin Hooper (MCL) and Devonta Freeman (foot), limiting Ryan's options. If Ryan starts, expect him to throw around 40 passes in the game, which gives him a good chance for around 300 yards and two touchdowns.
