2 years agoAccording to NFL Network, Matt Patricia interviewed for the Broncos' vacant defensive coordinator spot. The 48-year-old held the same role in New England for five seasons before spending nearly three seasons as the head coach of the Lions. However, after he was fired, he returned to the Patriots, mainly serving as the senior football advisor for the last three years. While Sean Payton has other candidates to consider, including Rex Ryan and Vance Joseph, Patricia has three Super Bowl rings, so he should be regarded as a top option for the position.
