Matt Olson Drives In Two Runs Vs Padres
4 years agoOakland Athletics first baseman Matt Olson went 2-for-4 with two RBI in a loss to the Padres Sunday. Olson had two RBI-singles, driving in the newly acquired Tommy La Stella each time. Olson also struck out twice which has held him back somewhat as his K-rate is over 27-percent which has his batting average still under .200. When he does make contact, Olson is one of the best in the business with an elite 49.4 percent hard-hit rate. His batting average is still subpar but he's getting on-base at a .323 rate and has 10 homers batting in the middle of a good Oakland lineup. Olson should be started in fantasy leagues as he is due for some positive regression based on his batted-ball data.
