Matt Moore Earns Third Save Of Season Monday
2 years agoTexas Rangers relief pitcher Matt Moore picked up his third save of the season in Monday's 2-1 win over the Twins. Moore turned in a 1-2-3 bottom of the ninth inning with a strikeout to end the game. The veteran has pitched well out of the bullpen this season and now has a 2.05 ERA over 57 innings pitched. The Rangers have employed a number of arms in save situations this season and may not see a ton of them down the stretch, but Moore has now seen two in the last seven games. As such, he may be worth a look in deep roto leagues at this time for fantasy managers trying to catch up in saves.
