Matt Grzelcyk Sustains Upper-Body Injury
14 seconds agoPittsburgh Penguins defenseman Matt Grzelcyk (upper body) sustained an injury during their loss on Sunday evening against the New York Rangers. The defenseman took a hard hit from New York forward Matt Rempe and did not return to the contest. He logged only five minutes of ice time before the injury and did not get on the scoresheet. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status leading up to their next game on Tuesday evening against the Philadelphia Flyers. If Grzelcyk were to miss some time, Vincent Desharnais or Vladislav Kolyachonok could draw into the starting lineup. Across 59 contests with the Penguins, Grzelcyk has tallied 28 points (27 helpers) with 70 shots on goal, 25 hits, and 72 blocked shots.
