Matt Corral Could Be Traded By Panthers
2 years agoCarolina Panthers quarterback Matt Corral was drafted in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft, but Carolina is already willing to trade him this offseason. Corral likely would have started a few games in his 2022 rookie season as the QB situation was fluid week-to-week, but he suffered a Lisfranc injury in a preseason game against the New England Patriots and was placed on season-ending Injured Reserve. Corral posted 3,349 passing yards, 20 passing touchdowns, five interceptions, and 11 rushing touchdowns in his final season at Ole Miss. Carolina reportedly won't ask for much for the 23-year-old QB, as they just traded up to the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft to take their signal-caller of the future.
