5 years agoOakland Athletics third baseman Matt Chapman led his team to a 3-2 victory over the Angels on Wednesday, hitting a two-run home run in the top of the ninth. Chapman went 2-for-5 in the game and is now slashing .245/.338/.503 with 35 home runs, 89 RBI and 99 runs on the season. Chapman's had some extended hot and cold stretches throughout the year, but the end-of-year numbers are looking stellar. He should end up being a worthy target for the fourth or fifth round of drafts next season.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
