3 years agoOakland Athletics third baseman Matt Chapman has had a rough time at the plate this year. Over 106 games, he's slashing .215/.304/.371 with 14 home runs, 48 RBI and 50 runs. He's been plagued by strikeouts all year long. He's struck out six times over his last 12 at-bats and his 32% strikeout rate ranks in the bottom 3% of the league. He also ranks in the bottom 3% of the league in xBA (.204) and in the bottom 26% of the league in xSLG (.373). Fantasy managers are free to abandon ship and drop Chapman in just about all formats, but he should be monitored in all leagues in case he catches fire over the final months of the year.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
