3 years agoOakland Athletics third baseman Matt Chapman went 1-for-3 during Saturday's loss to Cleveland, finishing with one hit and one run. The 28-year-old struck out as well, bringing his total to 114 whiffs on the year. Chapman has regressed somewhat from what he produced last season, currently batting just .226 while connecting for a hit during 72 of his 319 at-bats. Due to his subpar play, nobody should be surprised by his omission from fantasy lineups moving ahead.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
