Matt Breida Rushes for 46 Yards in Opener
6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Matt Breida rushed for 46 yards on 11 carries in Week 1, while adding one reception for five yards. The second-year running back didn’t rack up many fantasy points, but he did perform better than Alfred Morris against one of the top run defenses in the NFL. Despite the lack of size to be an every down back, Breida can still be an effective flex play in favorable matchups. Even though he will continue to share touches with Morris, Breida is the more dynamic player at this point of their careers and has more value in PPR formats.
