Matt Breida Rocks Cleveland
5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Matt Breida handled 11 carries for 114 yards and a touchdown in Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns, adding three catches for 15 yards and another score. The first quarter belonged to Breida, as he ripped the first play from scrimmage 83 yards for a touchdown. The third-year back followed up with a nifty 5-yard grab to extend the lead to 14-0 shortly afterwards. Breida operated in a timeshare with Tevin Coleman and Raheem Mostert, but showed his blazing speed and all-around versatility on Monday night. He likely won many leagues with the breakout performance. With the team’s elite offensive line, both Breida and Coleman have standalone RB2 value and should remain in lineups in Week 6 against the Los Angeles Rams.
