Matt Breida Doing Fine As Second In Command
5 years agoDespite playing second fiddle to backfield mate Tevin Coleman since his return, San Francisco 49ers running back Matt Breida still holds plenty of standalone fantasy value. Playing fewer snaps than Coleman, Breida has converted 31 touches into 192 scrimmage yards and two scores since Week 5. The third-year back has also been utilized in the passing game this season, which bodes well against a Washington Redskins Defense in Week 7 that’s been horrible at stopping either facet. Behind an elite offensive line, Breida has the breakaway speed to bust a big play anytime and sets up nicely as a backend RB2 on Sunday.
