5 years agoBuffalo Bills quarterback Matt Barkley struggled in relief of Josh Allen on Sunday, completing 18 of 35 passes for 232 yards and two interceptions in a 13-6 loss to the Jets. Barkley announced himself to Bills fans last year by trouncing the Jets when Allen was out with an injury. He didn’t make the same impression today. Playing behind a back-up offensive line, Barkley held onto the ball too long at times, made some poor throws in the rain, and failed to capitalize on the Bills two red-zone trips. He’ll remain a serviceable back-up come playoff time.--Eric Samulski
