Matt Albers Allows Walk Off Home Run
7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers relief pitcher Matt Albers allowed a walk-off home run in the 3-2 loss to the New York Mets in 2/3 of an inning. This was in a non-save situation, however, the last day he pitched was on April 11, so this was most likely to just get some work in. Despite Josh Hader getting a two-inning save last night, Albers still remains the best candidate for saves in the Brewers bullpen and this game now puts his ERA at 2.16 with seven strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings pitched.
