Matt Adams Plans to Take Batting Practice Friday
6 years agoWashington Nationals first baseman/outfielder Matt Adams (finger) plans to take batting practice with the team on Friday. Adams was placed on the 10-day disabled list Tuesday after fracturing his left index finger. It's unclear how long Adams will be sidelined, but it appears he is progressing well so far. Adams is hitting .275/.351/.575 with 13 home runs and 36 RBI in 57 games this season. He's definitely worth an add in NL-only leagues and mixed leagues. He's mostly a platoon player, but brings plenty of power to the plate.
