Mats Zuccarello Fined $2K For Unsportsmanlike Conduct
9 months agoMinnesota Wild forward Mats Zuccarello has been hit with a $2K fine for unsportsmanlike conduct for actions during Thursday's 6-1 loss to the Nashville Predators. The veteran was involved in a scuffle with Predators forward Michael McCarron while still on the bench, earning him the fine. McCarron was also handed a $2K fine for unsportsmanlike conduct. Both players received two-minute minors on the play. Zuccarello is enjoying another fine season with 11 goals and 50 points across 51 games. He has added 124 shots on goal and a whopping 28 points on the power play. The Wild currently sit sixth in the Central Division with a 28-26-6 record, eight points back of the rival Preds for the final Wild Card spot in the Western Conference.
