Mason Rudolph Expected To Miss Week 17
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph (shoulder) is expected to miss the Week 17 game against the Ravens due to his left shoulder injury, according to league sources. Rudolph came on in relief of a benched Devlin Hodges in the Week 16 loss to the Jets, but he didn't last very long and left the game. Hodges has tossed six interceptions in parts of his last two games, but the Steelers will have no choice but to start him in a must-win game against Baltimore. Paxton Lynch will serve as his backup. The good news is that the Ravens have already clinched home-field advantage in the AFC playoffs and will likely rest all their starters this weekend. Still, Hodges is a low-upside QB2 for anyone still playing for a fantasy title.
