Mason Rudolph A Candidate To Start In Week 15?
Mason Rudolph to start over Mitch Trubisky in Week 15 against the Carolina Panthers if rookie Kenny Pickett doesn't clear the league's concussion protocol. Rudolph said that he and Trubisky split repetitions at practice on Wednesday with Pickett only doing individual drills. This could be a mute point by the weekend if Pickett clears the concussion protocol, but this is his second time suffering a concussion in his first NFL season. More clarity on the Steelers' QB position this week will come after two more days of practice. Trubisky appeared in a game last Sunday for the first time since Week 6 and went 22-for-30 for 276 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions in the loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
