2 years agoOakland Athletics right-handed pitching prospect Mason Miller has impressed many in spring training, especially manager Mark Kotsay. Kotsay recently said that Miller's stuff is "the most impressive we've seen in terms of a prospect in our organization." Injuries have limited the 2021 draft pick to only five minor-league appearances between High-A and Triple-A. His one spring training appearance highlighted his elite stuff, as Miller used his triple-digit fastball, sinking cutter, and sweeping slider to strike out five hitters in two innings. There is hope within the organization that an injury-free season can fast-track their fourth-ranked prospect to the majors by the end of this year. Miller is unlikely to make the majors this year, but his tantalizing stuff should make him a target for those in dynasty leagues.--Pranav Uppalapati - RotoBaller
