Masahiro Tanaka May Miss Sunday Start
5 years agoWith New York Yankees starting pitcher Masahiro Tanaka back in New York for the birth of his child, he may be forced to miss his start on Sunday on the road against the Indians. It'd be a shame, as the Tribe have been one of the better matchups for pitchers this season. The Japanese right-hander has been pretty solid this year with a 3-5 record, 3.42 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, 67 strikeouts and 19 walks in 76 1/3 innings over 13 starts. Home runs are his biggest issue, as he's allowed 11 of them in his 13 starts, but he remains a fantasy starter worth using most every time he takes the mound. Prepare for him to possibly miss his Sunday start, though.
