Masahiro Tanaka Has Strong Start, Earns No-Decision
6 years agoMaking his second start of the season, Masahiro Tanaka delivered the New York Yankees another quality performance. The 30-year-old went 6 2/3 innings, allowing just one run on eight hits. He would strike out seven Tigers without walking a single batter. While it was a strong start, his offense only mustered one run, meaning he would exit with the game tied. The Yankees bullpen would later blow the game, but Tanaka's impact was felt once again. After two starts, he now boasts a 1.46 ERA and 12 strikeouts in 12 1/3 innings of work.
