Marvin Williams Struggles From Deep Wednesday
6 years agoCharlotte Hornets small forward Marvin Williams struggled from deep, going just 1-for-6 in the team’s loss against the Milwaukee Bucks. While Williams did struggle to score, putting up just five points, he was able to contribute in other areas. The forward ended the night with nine rebounds, four blocks, and a steal. Most importantly, he made it tough on Milwaukee’s all-star Giannis Antetokounmpo, causing him to get into foul trouble later in the game. This is part of the reason the Hornets were able to come back the way they did. Moving forward, fantasy owners should expect at least 25 minutes and more points out of Williams. They should also continue to see that great defense he displayed on Wednesday, which will lead to an elite number of blocks during certain games.
