Marvin Williams Reaches Double Figures For First Time
6 years agoCharlotte Hornets power forward Marvin Williams scored 13 points and collected six rebounds versus the Miami Heat on Saturday night. It was his first double-digit scoring effort in three games this season, as he made five of 10 shots, including two of five from three-point range. He added three blocks and one assist. This was a pretty typical game for the 13-year veteran, although the blocked shots are a little surprising -- he now has seven on the season. The 32-year-old did not swat more than two shots in a game last year. Williams' offensive production is highly dependent on him knocking down shots from long range. with him attempting 71.5 percent of his shot attempts this season from there. Going forward, expect Williams to get around eight shots up, with the majority being from beyond the arc over 25 minutes a game.
