Marvin Mims Jr. Practicing For First Time At Camp
1 year agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. (hamstring) suffered a minor hamstring injury during spring OTAs and had a setback during a workout just before training camp. However, the rookie pass-catcher returned to the practice field for the first time at camp on Monday. Tim Patrick (Achilles) suffered a non-contact injury on Monday, so Mims' return couldn't come at a better time. The Oklahoma product is expected to make an impact right away as a field stretcher for Russell Wilson's offense. If Patrick is out for an extended period of time, Mims should have an easier path to playing time immediately.
