Marvin Jones Leads Lions In Receiving For Second Straight Week
5 years agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones had a second straight big game for the team, catching three of his five targets for 77 yards. He led the team in receiving yards and was second on the team in targets behind Kenny Golladay, who had nine. Jones also led the Lions in receiving in Week 3 when he caught six passes for 101 yards and a touchdown. He now has 18 catches for 277 yards on the season, good for an average of 15.4 yards per reception. Jones will likely have an up-and-down season, as he can leave you empty-handed when he doesn't make a big play, but he's got some clear value as the No.2 receiver in a solid passing game. He should be owned in just about all leagues and is a worthy WR3 or flex start in most formats going forward.
