2 years agoDetroit Pistons forward Marvin Bagley III (hand) underwent surgery on his hand at the start of 2023 and hasn't seen the court since January 2. This is his first status that wasn't just ruling him out right away since then. While he still likely won't play, the upgraded status is a promising sign for the 23-year-old who has had some bad luck with injuries since he entered the league. Right now, Jalen Duren will still see plenty of minutes with new addition, James Wiseman, also seeing more and more opportunities as the Pistons will likely play their younger players even more down the stretch.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller
