Marvin Bagley III Re-Signs With Pistons
2 years agoThe Detroit Pistons re-signed power forward/center Marvin Bagley III to a three-year deal worth $37.5 million. Bagley was traded to the Pistons from the Sacramento Kings prior to last year's trade deadline. Over 18 games with the Pistons, he averaged 14.6 points and 6.8 rebounds per game while shooting 55.5% from the field. He could wind up as the team's starting center this season, though he'll have some competition for playing time as the team has added some additional big men this offseason. They traded for rookie Jalen Duren, the 13th pick in this year's draft, and they also acquired center Nerlens Noel from the New York Knicks.
